This is probably one of the most important messages I’ll ever share with you!
Yesterday was a pretty shi*ty day start to finish.
We got caught up in roadworks on the way to school, my son forgot his guitar and was in tears, I broke my favourite earrings and then to top it all I got a migraine!
All-in-all it wasn’t the best start to the day.
By 12pm I realised I’d already had a million and one negative thoughts. I was totally lost in negative self talk and doom and gloom storytelling.
Why I wasn’t good enough to write another book
Why I didn’t look good in the dress I was wearing
Why I was never going to complete my to do list
Why we should have left the house earlier that morning
Why I should have drunk more water and less tea!
Blah blah blah…
Listen up folks…
I have been working on myself for years. I am an expert at all this mindset stuff and yet I still must do the daily work to take charge of my mind. Because if I don’t, my mind rules me! And that’s dangerous.
You are in charge of you’re thinking mind, not the other way around.
But doing that work is your choice. And not everyone is prepared to put in the work required.
You must take care of your mind in the same way you do your body otherwise it starts working against you. And this will NOT lead to a happy life!
